My debut record ‘Outside In’ is being pressed on WHITE VINYL. It will be numbered, signed, and released February 14th 2012!! So excited about this! I am gearing up to begin recording a NEW ALBUM in 2012 – more details to come soon! ‘Outside In’ pre-orders will be available at Hand Drawn Dracula.

Though this impressive piece of art from Toronto’s multi-talented singer-songwriter Julie Fader is a debut, this gal is no newbie when it comes to the Canadian musical landscape. A sought after player for everyone from Sarah Harmer to Great Lake Swimmers to Chad VanGaalen, Fader has wisely paid her dues for years, which only makes this unveiling all the more enticing. In return for her graciousness, Fader’s friends lend a hand here with Harmer’s and VanGaalen’s guest vocals, as well as Holy F*ck’s Graham Walsh in the producer seat. As a result, Outside In is a gorgeous, dream-like soundscape of acoustic ballads and honest, simplistic numbers that are guided by splashes of violins, flutes and Wurlitzer that will melt your heart. Fader is truly a national treasure.
